We are painfully aware of the condition of our fields. About 19 inches of rain would help,

but we are working on trying whatever we can to improve them.

The league purchased a $26,000 deep tine aerator this fall and we are in the process of opening up our highly compacted soil.

This should allow a better root system by allowing nutrients and moisture to go deeper into the ground.

But it takes time. Hopefully we will see some improvement this spring.
